400 Qualified Applicants at Sub-$1 Cost Per Application, Recruitment Campaign

Client: Recruitment / Staffing Objective: Candidate Lead Generation Result: 400 qualified applicants, sub-$1 cost per application

The Problem

The client needed to attract a high volume of qualified job applicants quickly. Recruitment campaigns on Meta are underutilized; most companies default to job boards, but when done right, Meta's targeting capabilities can reach passive candidates who aren't actively searching but are the right fit.

The challenge was generating applications that were genuinely qualified, not just volume for the sake of it.

My Approach

Recruitment is lead generation with a different product , the job itself is the offer, and it needs to be sold like one.

I structured the campaign as a lead generation objective using Meta's instant forms, which allowed candidates to apply directly without friction. The targeting focused on relevant interest and demographic signals to reach people who matched the candidate profile the client was looking for.

The creative and copy were written to speak directly to the right candidate, specific enough to attract qualified applicants, while filtering out those who weren't a fit. A well-written recruitment ad does two things at once: it attracts the right people, and it repels the wrong ones. This is what keeps the cost per qualified application low.

The Result

The campaign generated 400 qualified candidate applications at a sub-$1 cost per application. For a recruitment campaign where the value of a single good hire can be worth thousands, this represents a significant return on ad spend and proves that Meta can be a highly cost-effective recruitment channel when campaigns are structured correctly.
